Wow Richard, great improvment in such a short amount of time...what will your pics look like in May...Sept. I must say that my favorites are the tools, a very familiar shot, the "What I Do" shot of the saw and dust...my absoulute favorite, and the corner...stunning mate. I'm gonna keep closer track of this thread so I can learn from Shuey as well, some really great pointers. I must agree that getting out of our comfort zone and trying things you thought might not work can sometimes result in the most fantastic art. Keep it up Richard...oh, heres my LATE thought on paper, Find a newstand or a newspaper vending machine or the morning paper on the driveway...maybe next time I'll be back...

I think I chose a hard topic for ELECTRIC today. I wanted different, really different, I took a picture of the light bulb amongst other things but I felt it didn't cut it. Now whilst this pic is not perfect it's the concept I like. Oh yes and it was really difficult to capture the spark, my ears are ringing and I feel light headed from the fumes, Oh look a pink elephant.

No pink elephants today, just STRIPES. These stripes are the slats that hold the old lath and plaster walls together.

Before anyone asks where today's photo of LANDSCAPE is it will be here in the morning. The family has just been out to an evening by the river and I have a couple of shots I would like to upload when I have more time. So please forgive me.

You need a tripod or it was windy and you need to weigh your tripod down

It was a bit breezy however I do need a tripod or at least a bracket to replace the one I've lost.. Anyway today was Australia Day and the theme was TOGETHER. I live in a cul-de-sac and today we got all the nieghbours together and we had our first ever street party. A great arvo and night, lamb chops, steak and snags on the barbie, pavlova, lamingtons and a aussie themed cake for dessert, all washed down with copious amounts of beer, awesome. Here is a shot which is posed. See if you pick me before I have to post a photo of myself later this week.
