When I wrote my post on how to find ideas for writing a story , I talked about the two methods I use to get ideas: reading and the reality around me. I don't think there are other ways. If you think about dreams, those are also part of your reality. If someone who calls himself a writer can't find ideas, then he's not a writer. The writer's task, after all, is precisely that: finding ideas and writing stories. Be observant.
Be curious. Be critical. Be avid readers. Be dreamers. Be poets. And you will find ideas for writing stories. #2 – Write down a draft plot Once I have the idea, the first step I take is to immediately write down some information relating to my story. As I said in another post, I had to delete Phone Number Data rows of stories because I had only left the draft title, without writing down anything that would allow me to remember what I should have talked about. These notes are for me a necessary first step in writing the story.
It's a method I use for posts too – and even then I had to throw away several files when I forgot to write a line about it. #3 – Write a series of questions As I said some time ago, in my opinion the creation of a story is triggered by a series of questions. At that time I had taken as an example The Betrothed , the idea of a popular marriage prevented by a nobleman. Asking how a character would act when faced with a situation puts us on the right path to developing the plot of the story. Writing more solutions will help us understand which one will be the best, most effective one.
