Hi, while I was composing a shot out of the open window and when I tried to zoom the lens back in, nothing happened! It won't zoom in or out. It isn't jammed but will not move by twisting the ring . Because of this, the auto focus will not work, but I can focus manually. Knowing next to nothing about the workings of a camera lens, what is the likelyhood of getting it fixed and if it's possible to fix? Would anyone have any idea on how much it would cost if it is repairable as I don't know if something could have just been jolted lose or if a part has broken? The lens is a Canon fit, Sigma 18-200mm OS. Would I be able to go to a camera repair centre or would it need to specialize in lens repairs? I'm stressing-out as I'm in the midst of a 6 month trip around SE Asia and coming to the end of my Vietnam trip, so I cannot stay in any place for more than 3-4 days. I'm thinking of trying to find someone who does camera repairs in Hue (my next stop) and if they say it needs new parts, to try and get in touch with a repair centre in Hanoi to see if they can order in the parts before I arrive. Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References: www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/2955199 Medical Business Promotion
