Hi, When I recently inspected my Sigma 10-20 after a trip I found a few little spots where the coating seems to be damaged. Maybe this happened when I put it in the bag and somehow the front lens cap came off and the edge of it scratched the front lens - I am not sure. The biggest part of the scratched spot is maybe about 2mm in diameter - see below. I don't know, if this would have any impact on impact quality, but for sure every time I look at the lens, it bothers me to see it. The lens is still under warranty. But I am not sure if they would fix this under warranty or if I would have to pay for it ... or if it is worth to send it in at all. I assume the front lens would have to be changed. What do you think, does this have any impact on image quality? Would you send it in? Do you have experience how much it costs to have this fixed? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References: www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/2286692 3D Medical animated video
